Rafah- the challenging conditions which affected Gaza inhabitants had tragic effects on Saleh. He is a man whose body withered due to illnesses, and became too weak to work. He and his family live in a house that lacks basic human essentials and needs. The house consisted of one room, an empty kitchen and a bathroom not suitable for usage.

Saleh had tried to request aid from many institutions but had not gotten any responses and had lost hope. Until his wife requested aid from Give Palestine Association. A team from the association visited her house and was shocked at the condition it was in, it was unfit for dignified human life. The association acted quickly and repaired the roof and walls of the house.

They also reconstructed the bathroom and built a room for the children, using a generous fund from the Welfare Association. And at the end of the day, the family was very happy with the repairs that improved their quality of life.
