I Am a Creator is a cultural and developmental initiative launched by Give Palestine Association to identify and nurture the talents of Palestinian children aged 8–15 in creative writing and illustration, while promoting reading habits and the use of Modern Standard Arabic, within a safe and inspiring environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

The project engages children from various Palestinian communities through a series of specialized annual competitions. It begins with the I Am a Narrator competition for short story writing, followed by the I Am an Illustrator competition, in which children illustrate the winning stories. The process culminates in the publication of the children’s works, officially recognizing them as authors and illustrators. This integrated approach plays a key role in building children’s self-confidence and encouraging active cultural and creative expression.

The project also strengthens Palestinian cultural identity, enhances creative and critical thinking skills, and connects culture with technology by making the stories accessible through the Listen and Read application. In addition, exhibitions and cultural events are organized to showcase the achievements of participating children and celebrate their creativity
