Dar Al-Raja.. The story of the resilience of a tent that storms could not uproot

In a part of the land of Palestine, where willpower defies all forces of nature, the Dar al-Raja camp stands tall like a poem of patience written on walls of fabric and tents. A year ago, heavy rains and strong storms struck multiple locations, but these tents had another story
The tents we erected in Dar al-Raja were not merely temporary shelters; they were fortresses of resilience against winter. Among the 40 tents set up in the camp, the fierce winds uprooted only two. This means that 95% of the tents remained in place thanks to God and then due to their high quality and durability in harsh weather, from last year up to this moment
It is a scene that instills reassurance in a time when houses sometimes collapse, to see the Palestinian tent standing firm, telling the story of those who inhabit it: a story of clinging to the land, determination to live, and faith that tomorrow is closer than any storm
These tents were not the only ones standing firm; alongside them stood the dreams of children, the wishes of women, and the patience of men. It is a success story written by the giving hands of generous donors, making the tent a roof of dignity and a shield for warmth
