The story:
Randa Sami Al-Alami Library was established by the Ata’a Palestine Charity Association on 02/05/2006, at the headquarters of the Physically Disabled Association, funded by Dr. Zuhair Al-Alami's family.
The student Mohammed suffers from paralysis in his leg and is one of the distinguished children among his peers and classmates. However, he started his academic life very weak in reading, as he reached the third grade without mastering the art of reading. The teachers struggled with this issue because it hindered his educational progress and caused fatigue for the teachers. Therefore, his school consulted the librarian, Mrs. Fatiha Al-Mashharawi. Indeed, the librarian spoke with him and asked him to visit the library regularly. She began reading some simple stories with him and listening as he spelled out words until he improved significantly.
In the third grade, Mohammed became one of the library's regular visitors. He then began borrowing stories and later books, eventually reaching a rate of borrowing seven books per week. The teachers noticed a significant improvement in Mohammed's reading abilities.
Now, Mohammed is in the sixth grade and is one of the distinguished students in reading, spelling, and composition.
