The Story:
Randa Sami Al-Alami Library was established by the Ata’a Palestine Charity Association on 02/05/2006, at the headquarters of the Physically Disabled Association, funded by Dr. Zuhair Al-Alami's family.
The student Nada is considered an outstanding student in every sense of the word.
Nada's disability began at birth when she suffered from a lack of oxygen during delivery, which resulted in complete paralysis of her movement as well as in the speech centers of her brain. Her speech was mostly unintelligible, and Nada was confined to bed, unable to move for five years. Her family spared no effort in treating her until God guided them to the Physically Disabled Association. She joined the Skills Development Department at the Physically Disabled Association, then attended kindergarten, where she was an outstanding student. Alongside her education, she undertook physical therapy and speech sessions until she became able to use a wheelchair and her speech became understandable.
Nada's main hobby is reading; she always visits the library in her free time to read valuable books. Since the second grade, she has been reading stories and books, benefiting her family as well as her classmates at school with the knowledge she gains from these books. Thanks to this reading, Nada has acquired a wealth of experience and information and has become a very cultured person, participating in and discussing all areas of life. This reading has also made her excel in her lessons, as well as in writing and understanding what is happening around her.
