Give Palestine Association continues to implement comprehensive psychological support programs for mothers and children to promote family cohesion and mental health in the Dar Al-Raja community.

As part of its ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive support to orphans and their families, Give Palestine Association continues to implement comprehensive psychological support programs for mothers and children to promote family cohesion and mental health in the Dar Al-Raja community

First : Psychological support sessions for mothers in cooperation with the Mind and Body Center (from March 2026 to May 2026)

In partnership with the Mind and Body Center, psychological support sessions for children and mothers were held within the Dar Al-Raja community for two consecutive months, and the service will be provided during the following third month. The groups were divided, and psychological support, logical and creative thinking skills, meditation, mindful thinking, and ways to deal with psychological and social pressures were provided.

The sessions were distributed as follows:

Group 1 Mothers, including 12 women.

Group 2 Mothers, including 12 women.

Group 3 Mothers, including 12 women.

Group 1 Female Children, including 15 girls.

Group 2 Female Children, including 15 girls.

Second: Individual sessions for mothers within the community (daily sessions throughout the year as needed)

Individual psychological support sessions were also conducted for mothers within the Dar Al-Raja community, under the supervision of the psychological specialist working at the institution.

These sessions aimed to provide a safe and confidential space for each case, allowing in-depth listening to individual problems, providing specialized psychological interventions, in addition to developing individual support plans that help mothers overcome traumas and pressures, and enhance their ability to cope.

Third: Psychological sessions and activities for children

(Daily sessions throughout the year)

In terms of supporting children, the community psychologist organized a set of interactive sessions and activities directed at children, which included motor games, drawing and coloring activities, and spaces for free expression.

These activities aimed to relieve psychological pressures in children, boost their self-confidence, develop their social skills, in addition to reintroducing joy and happiness into their lives in a safe and supportive environment.

Beneficiary groups

These programs targeted the mothers of orphans and children in the Dar Al-Raja community, with activities designed to suit their psychological and social needs, achieving a positive and sustainable impact at the family and community levels.

Implementation and Supervision

These sessions were conducted by qualified female psychologists, either from within the community or in collaboration with the Mind and Body Center, based on professional principles that respect privacy and confidentiality, and ensure the provision of effective and safe psychological support.

Ongoing Message

Dar Al-Raja affirms that these programs are part of its vision of building the individual from within, and its belief that psychological support is the cornerstone in empowering families and caring for children, emphasizing its continued commitment to offering such initiatives that promote hope and stability in the community.
