In a scene reflecting the spirit of human solidarity that flourishes during the blessed month of Ramadan, Bank of Palestine provided its support for a humanitarian initiative carried out by Give Palestine Association Association to distribute hot Iftar meals to displaced and affected families in the Gaza Strip, as part of the 'Ramadan Brings Us Together with Love and Giving' campaign, in a step aimed at alleviating the harsh living conditions faced by families in the area

The initiative was carried out during the second week of the holy month, with meals reaching families in several areas that include gatherings of displaced persons and the most needy families, including the western and central areas of Gaza City, as well as displacement camps in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis City, and the Dar Al-Aytam camp in the central area. Field teams made sure to deliver meals to families facing increasing 

difficulties in securing their daily food needs, amid escalating humanitarian challenges

This initiative was not limited to providing ready-made Iftar meals only, but also constituted a message of human solidarity with many families living under exceptional circumstances, contributing to bringing an atmosphere

 of reassurance and joy to the homes of those affected, amid a difficult reality that imposes Daily challenges for families

 This initiative also reflected the deep meanings of the month of Ramadan as a season of compasand social solidarity, and as an opportunity to reinforce the values of giving and responsibility towards the most vulnerable groups in society

This initiative comes as a continuation of a series of humanitarian interventions carried out by Bank of Palestine during Ramadan in various areas of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, within the context of Bank of Palestine's continuous commitment to its developmental and humanitarian role, and its keenness to expand its community interventions in partnership with civil society organizations, contributing to strengthening the resilience of Palestinian families and supporting their ability to face challenges, especially in areas that suffer from complex humanitarian conditions such as the Gaza Strip

For its part, Give Palestine Association expressed its deep appreciation for the support provided by Bank of Palestine in making this initiative successful, emphasizing that this contribution had a tangible impact in assisting affected families and alleviating their suffering during the holy month, as well as contributing to strengthening the spirit of community solidarity and reviving the values of participation and giving that distinguish Palestinian society
