In a Ramadan evening filled with hope and generosity, the Give Palestine Organization hosted a charity iftar in the city of Ramallah, attended by representatives of local companies, institutions, organizations, and business leaders. The event was held as part of the “One Million Fasters to Sponsor 1,000 Orphans from Palestine” campaign, which primarily aims to support orphaned children affected by the war in Gaza.

Ms. Rajaa Abu Ghazaleh, General Director of the Give Palestine Organization, highlighted the growing challenges the organization faces as the number of orphaned children in Gaza continues to rise. She noted that the organization receives hundreds of sponsorship requests every day from families in need. She stated:

“We feel deep sorrow when we are unable to welcome even one more orphan… This campaign and its activities aim to empower and respond to the magnitude of the pain.”

The evening saw a high level of engagement, with generous contributions from companies and individuals to help sponsor orphans. The event also featured a charity auction for three original artworks by artists Mohammad Sabaaneh and Hamzeh Abu Ayyash, who donated all proceeds from the sold pieces to support the care of orphaned children.
